When you are making an 'apologia' for you faith or your folly, you can't punch him/her in the nose (with your winning arguments) and then give a rose to smell. It does not work that way. Life is not about logic and rationalism, neither is it about stimuli and reactions. We have feelings that need to be valued. :)
